To help celebrate Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight we will be hosting a special Shetland Food Producers and Buyers event on Monday 10 September in Lerwick.
Here local buyers will have the rare opportunity to meet producers first hand, find out more about their product and how it can be sourced.
Shetland chef, Glynn Wright, and his catering students will be preparing a selection of delicious canapes using fine local produce, including cheese, milk, seafood, lamb, beef, pork, fudge, ice-cream, vegetable, jam and oatcakes, all accompanied by tastings of local ale.
