There was a celebratory atmosphere in Edinburgh yesterday not just because of the Fringe Festival but also because Blasda 2012 kicked off in Stockbridge.Huge numbers flocked to the market which for the first time coincided with Blasda this year. So much was on offer – from fudge to veg.

 Everyone was in great form and the decent weather also helped a lot(All hoping all the other Blasda events should be so LUCKY!!!!).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 A choir set off the celebrations to make the kick off even more special and got everyone into the spirit of things. The stalls were brimming with lots of interesting foods. Congrats to Beth and everyone involved yesterday. You have certainly set a high standard for the rest of our events.
